Bedding Coir
Coconut Coir is a
tiny organic particle which is obtained from coconut
husk when separating the fiber from the husk. The Coir
is also known as Cocopeat. Decker Worm Sales
offers three weights of coir. 250 Gram and 650 Gram
weights are available in single bricks as well as
multi-packs. We also offer a 5 Kilogram single block.
There are no significant differences beyond the weights.
The higher weight bricks are simply denser and/or larger
and therefore offer more coir for your bedding or
composter needs. Decker Worm Sales
recommends Coconut Coir for our
stackable worm bins or
for general worm bedding. Our Coir has a high water and nutrition
holding capacity, and is much better than standard peat moss,
Rockwool or perlite for
worm farming and composting. For larger
applications, we offer 90 pack units. Please contact us

*Brick sizes will vary slightly, and are packed and sold by
weight not size.
